The NTD International Photography Competition is one of the major international art and cultural events presented by NTD. Dedicated to fostering cultural and artistic exchange among photographers worldwide, the competition upholds traditional values and timeless aesthetic principles. Through the lens of photography, it seeks to authentically capture kindness, beauty, light, and harmony in both humanity and the natural world, contributing to the revival of traditional aesthetics.
The competition also serves as a professional international platform, allowing outstanding photographic works to be shared with NTD’s global audience across more than twenty languages and diverse cultural backgrounds. In this way, photography becomes a powerful form of visual storytelling that bridges cultures and connects people through shared human values.
In previous years, the competition primarily welcomed Chinese photographers. 2025 marks the first fully international edition of the NTD International Photography Competition. With the continued growth of NTD and its sister media, The Epoch Times, NTD’s global media presence now spans over twenty language regions, enabling the competition to reach photographers worldwide.
This year, the competition received 2231 submissions from 1313 photographers around the world. This competition is divided into two categories, namely Social Relations and Humanity, as well as Nature and Landscape. The submitted works encompass portraits, folk traditions, architectural achievements, and breathtaking natural scenes. Each photograph reflects the artist’s dedication, skill, and thoughtful vision. Together, these powerful images embody the spirit of pure authenticity, pure kindness, and pure beauty, deeply moving the organizing team and jury.
NTD looks forward to continuing this journey alongside photographers from around the globe, using the artistic power of pure authenticity, pure kindness, and pure beauty, to bring warmth, hope, and inspiration to the world.
